Pros and cons of Gitter - Chat for communities app for iPhone and iPad

Gitter - Chat for communities app good for

UPDATE:Wow talk about instant gratification, within hours of writing my first review the devs updated and added iPad support. <3 OLD:just wish it was a universal app so I can enjoy it on my iPad and run it along side chrome for FreeCodeCamp communication!
I use on my iPad Air and IMO this app can get benefits using such a bog screen space iPad has. Also requesting iOS 8 support.

Some bad moments

Got stuck on loading screen infinitely, logging out didnt help. Reinstall did help though. Unread message count always messes up. Feature set is really basic.
- Doesnt show profile picture from Twitter - Cannot remove chat from list (you can checkout but you can never leave... :)
Often times I need to checkin with my team on the go. The mobile app makes this such a snap! Awesome work guys
UIWebView of their mobile version, hardcoded height for iPhone 4, menus didnt work, suggested rooms were pointless and no way to create or invite anyone. CREATED A PULL REQUEST ON MY REPO WITHOUT ASKING FIRST.
Its great except it doesnt seem to have the private message capability that the web version has. Maybe I just couldnt find it. Anyway, other than that its great.
Very useful tool for me so far. I would like to be able to turn off notifications for repos from the app instead of going through the web interface. Being able to change settings would be a huge plus.
